A city in Dakota County, Burnsville is the 10th largest city in Minnesota. The community was named for settler, William Burns (or Byrne) Burnsville is ideally located at the intersection of Interstate 35W and 35E just 20 minutes from the downtown areas of both Minneapolis and Saint Paul. The city has over 3,300 acres of parks and wildlife refuge lands. It is located just 10 minutes from world-renown Mall of America and 15 minutes from the Minneapolis/Saint Paul International Airport.
